Did you know that Jackie Robinson
played SS for the KC Monarchs in the Negro Leagues for 1 season before signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers organization?
He played for the Dodgers farm team the Montreal Royals in 1946 and stepped on the field for the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947.
