Recorded Cicely Tyson as our Narrator
We recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Miss Cicely Tyson when she came in to record the narration for the film. She was as lovely as you can imagine. She is a shining example of how a professional should perform. Her voice resonated with authenticity as this story of pursuing your dream in a segregated America and the lack of civil rights rang true to her. She is not only an icon, but a role model who continues to make an impact. She was recently nominated for another Emmy for playing the mother to Viola Davis' character on "How to Get Away with Murder". When I asked her how life was in "Shondaland", she smiled and replied "Life is good in Shondaland". ;-)
Thank you Miss Tyson for your time, your grace and your voice.
