There's Just Something About That Game of Baseball (and the legacy of the Negro Leagues)

We kicked off the 2024 baseball season with a return engagement at Fluor Field in Greenville, SC. It was great to be part of their HBCU college fair and Jackie Robinson Weekend.

The film's impact remains undeniable as the Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Black History Museum of Virginia invited us back to share the program with underserved youth and campers this year.

The Hartford Yard Goats hosted the film as part of Unity Day and featured a special panel that included Negro League alum Pedro Sierra and others. The Charles J. Muth Museum of Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ welcomed The Other Boys of Summer as their first community film screening with an engaging conversation that followed. Filmmaker Lauren Meyer talked with Larry Doby Jr. who shared personal stories from his father. His stories and insight proved captivating to all in attendance. The house was packed with community members and even the Mayor of Paterson, Andres Sayegh attended.

This fall we are providing corporate and educational programs to a variety of return clients and new organizations.
